Service overview
Thumbnail Vault is a free tool designed for YouTube thumbnail research and packaging development. New account signup includes Start Getting Views, Jamie's free five-day course and ongoing YouTube newsletter, as described on the signup form. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in an email. Signing in again does not restart the course or reverse an unsubscribe.
By using Thumbnail Vault, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
YouTube API Services
Thumbnail Vault uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Acceptable use
You may use Thumbnail Vault for personal or business research. You may not scrape the platform at scale or redistribute the underlying thumbnail library.
Intellectual property
Thumbnails shown in the vault remain the property of their respective YouTube creators. They are displayed for educational and research purposes only.
Removal requests
If you're a creator and want one of your videos, its thumbnail or our analysis of it removed from Thumbnail Vault, email jamie@jamiewhiffen.co.ukwith a link to the video. We'll remove it within 7 days and let you know when it's done. You don't need to give a reason.
Analyses, AI and results
The analyses in Thumbnail Vault, including What to study notes, tags and remix prompts, are written with the help of AI. They're our opinion of why a title and thumbnail work, shared for education and inspiration. They aren't professional advice, and we don't promise any result, such as views, clicks, subscribers or revenue.
If you use a remix prompt in another AI tool, such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok, what you make with it is your responsibility, including making sure it doesn't copy another creator's work, name or likeness. Your use of those tools is covered by their own terms.
Accounts and saved work
Browsing does not require an account. Saving references, collections, notes and named tool documents requires a free account secured by email verification. You are responsible for access to your email account and for signing out on shared devices. Only upload images you have permission to use. Saved tool images are private to your account. The free service limits each account to 100 named tool documents and 100 MB of saved images, with a maximum of 10 MB per image. We may suspend accounts used to abuse, scrape or disrupt the service.
You can ask for a copy of your data, including your saved work and profile answers, by emailing jamie@jamiewhiffen.co.uk, and we'll send it within a month.
Your uploads
When you upload an image, for example to the Thumbnail Previewer or Brief Builder, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it. It stays yours, and you allow Jamie Whiffen LTD to store it and show it to you so the tools work. We may remove any upload that breaks these terms or that someone reports as infringing their rights.
Other websites and tools
Thumbnail Vault links to other websites and tools, including those in the Creator Toolkit, and some of those links are affiliate links. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, products or terms.
No warranty
Thumbnail Vault is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jamie Whiffen LTD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from use of the service.
Changes to the service
Thumbnail Vault is free, and we may change, pause or stop any part of it. If we decide to close it, we'll email account holders at least 30 days before, so there's time to ask for a copy of your saved work.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of Thumbnail Vault after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will deal with any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
